The rescuers worked together in an attempt to free the trapped man. One person reportedly held onto him while others used long wooden poles to keep the crocodile at a distance and create an opportunity to pull him away. With the dangerous animal just a short distance away, every moment of the rescue remained extremely tense.
The dramatic footage reportedly shows the group continuing their efforts until the man could be moved away from the crocodile. The video has attracted attention online, although its authenticity and exact circumstances have not been independently confirmed.
